Australia's law enforcement have suspended the operation for a four-year-old who has been missing in the outback for nearly three weeks, after fresh operations failed to discover any traces of the youngster.

Chronology of Incidents

Gus Lamont was observed playing around his residence on a secluded sheep station in the vicinity of Yunta, about a significant distance from Adelaide, on September 27th.

His grandmother left him alone for about a short period before returning, only to find the youngster gone, prompting one of the biggest comprehensive missions in local history.

Latest Status

Police - who do not suspect foul play - say they will persist looking into, but that the matter has become a "recovery operation".

Recently, officials for a short time scaled back the search, only to recommence it on recently alongside eighty Australian Defense Force staff.

"Official Grant Stevens said authorities were scanning a more extensive region based on updated evaluations from survivability and operation professionals, rather than any recent developments."

Mission Challenges
